Are chrisitans just scared and narrow-minded?
Q. I'm of the opinion that people who follow the bible word for word are scared and lacking individuality. To elaborate: 1. They depend on the words some random "PEOPLE" wrote thousands of years ago when there was nothing better to do. Absolutely no evidence of an omnipotent god exists other than what was written down by people with too much time on their hands. How come christians or religious people don't take other volumes of work just as seriously, like Aesop's fables for example? 2. They lack individuality in that they were probably raised to believe in this imaginary creature and are just looking for attention and affirmation from others that they 'have strong convictions' when in reality they have none because they can't think for… [cont.]

A. You talk about narrow-minded. I'd rather be narrow-minded than simple-minded. I rejoice that an omnipotent God is going to squash little simple-minded people who have courage to say He doesn't exist, and that He is an imaginary creature. I really can't wait for Him to come again. I wish He would come right now and give you His opinion instead of mine. I'll let Him defend Himself.
