I was going to advise non-fiction, the book by the Kinsey's regarding sex, or the movie I think I saw coming out or out about Dr. Kinsey... however-- I see that's not what you're after at all. As I recall sex was a different kind of thing in the book "Voyage to the Red Planet" by Terry Bisson, easily found in second-hand book stores. Or you could perhaps include a book like "Lady of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer, about the 'other' women in the King Arthur legend and what they got up to, especially Morgan le Fey (sp). "Interview with a Vampire" by Anne Rice certainly shows how women are effected by a vampire, and Rice holds nothing back; not a book for most young people. It's very good, though.
