help with comparing fables to modern day?
Q. hahha. so you know what fables are, right? Like the short stories with the morals/themes at the end. Some famous ones are like The Tortoise and the Hare, The Lion and the Mouse, etc. So we have to compare them to modern day stuff. One person did the tortoise and the hare and the compared the tortoise to an old lady in an old car and compared the hare to a young driver in a hurry with a new Mercedes. I can't really think of any examples, help?

A. Uh...I dunno know what you're talking about but let me try. So tortoise and the hare? Hmmm...I guess you can say a snail and a cheetah? Nah...hmmm...I guess you can that the tortoise is a student that writes a test really slowly and carefully...and the hare is another student who writes the test at the speed of light (no double-checking)...and in the end, the "slow and steady" student gets a higher mark... Sorry, that's the best I got...Wish you good luck! WD-50 @ your service.
